so there is no way to take them?? because i really do wanna take them.

Leave them. Just because you WANT to take them doesn't mean it's good for them. Were not talking about a dog were talking about a reptile who will be put in it's new surroundings for 5 days then hauled into a vehicle for 5-6 hours. Try it if you want, but if they die don't come back to us.

You honestly don't know anyone who can check on them at least once the week your gone? A simple walk in for 5 minutes put some food in walk out is all that is needed. If they were established in the tank for months then it might be okay, but they were just shipped(or picked up) then put in their new tank for 5 days then a drive for 5-6 hours then sit in the tank where you know people will be interested in them and be gauked at daily. Then another 5-6 hours back. I just wouldn't, but if you want....by all means go ahead.

The constant temp changes of taking them with you could trigger respiratory infections in them which can get serious fast

ugh! i really want to! but i guess your right. so even if i just put them in the car with their tank it still wouldnt matter? ok well then ill leave them. BUT if i come back and somthings wrong im gunna be one sad kid. good thing i havent ordered them yet. ijust stopped the order. i got a 2 year old red bellied turtle. he is very used to people. would he be fine to bring along?

Why do you feel the need to bring it? Transport is super stressful for them and temperature fluctuations are an easy way to leave your turtle succeptable to respiratory infections which can be fatal if not dealt with quickly.

well because my aunt used to keep turtles amd she said she REALLY wants me to bring it. is their anyway to make it not stessfull?

I wouldnt do it, turtles dont travel very well.

That sucks, have you ever thought about using an automatic feeder? You could put turtle food in it instead of fish food.
