turtle question

The constant temp changes of taking them with you could trigger respiratory infections in them which can get serious fast

yep they can!!! i know how that is as i had it happen with my 2 year old mappy! luckily after a 7week period of antibiotics and $70 later, he started to heal. DONT risk his health.

ugh! i really want to! but i guess your right. so even if i just put them in the car with their tank it still wouldnt matter? ok well then ill leave them. BUT if i come back and somthings wrong im gunna be one sad kid. good thing i havent ordered them yet. ijust stopped the order. i got a 2 year old red bellied turtle. he is very used to people. would he be fine to bring along?

dont bring any of your turtles!!!! if you can leave fish at home for a week, then you can leave turtles at home!!! i have always left my two turtles home during vacations, i just put in about 10 rossy red minnows (usually eaten in 10hours) and a dissolving feeder for the sunfish and they are fine!!

That sucks, have you ever thought about using an automatic feeder? You could put turtle food in it instead of fish food.

You are choosing the most ill-reputed website in the market to order from. They routinely ship sick animals, and you plan to treat these animals like a stuffed teddy bear carrying them with you on vacation.......

What I don't get is why? The Turtle Source is a better site and its also cheaper for 2 baby eastern painted?

well turtle shack has a buy one get one free deal on ETPs...but ill look at turtle source.
