well some people keep a shedded skin of their snake, and loads of people on here have dead fish in the freezer or whatever, and i wondered if anyone kept their shells of their deceased turtles/tortoises or not, and if its possible to do etc?

yes... you would have to cut out the turtle... clean the shell.... not sure on exactly what to do tho...
if i find dead turtles ill bury it under leaves and come back a few months later and soak the thing in bleach for a few weeks. but sometimes i get lucky and just find the shell with no flesh in it still.
