I think feeders would be attacked also.
That was my point. Feeders are meant to be prey for turtles. Why else did we suggest them for turtles?;)

I hope you plan to upgrade your aquarium in the future as well.

I keep Giant Danios with my musk turtles and they've never been eaten. I think they move too quickly. You could give them a try.

try some barbs in with them. i had a few tiger barbs with my 4 res and they lasted quite awhile before they finally got picked off.

Well I have a 2 inch long Auratus juvenile...I was meaning to feed it to my two Reeve's Turtles...but after two months it's still alive and it eats algae and picks bits off turtle pellets.

Not even a single split fin or roughed scale...haha! And the little auratus isn;t even timid at all...he swims under and over the turtle's carapaces and paces the glass when I go near the tank.

^ A lot of it has to do with the species of turtle. Some are more carnivores than others. Reeves turtles are more semi-aquatic then RES and the adults diet contains much more veggie material then animal. That's one of the reasons your fish hasn't been eaten.

Ditto, though when they get bigger sliders eat mostly plant matter too.

I keep feeder guppies in with mine. My RES doesn't eat them, too fast. When I want a treat I'll go get some res or ghost shrimp.

Put in cheap fish that you wouldn't mind getting eaten
Turtlz r teh awesom
