What would the minimum size tank be for a lone birchir? a

It depends on what species. A Senegal should be fine in a 29g to 55g

Good idea! Remember turtles EAT fish!!! Senegals are too purty to risk losing anyway!! I am currently keeping my albino in a 29, so far so good!!!!

You know, after all this "my turtle doesn't eat fish" stuff, I introduced a couple of baby albino rainbow sharks into the tank. I'll be darned if the turtle didn't hunt those things until it got both of them. It never stopped, like the terminator. I wonder why he ignores all of the other fish? Oh well, he needs a separate home anyway.

dont do it! my softshell at my peacock eel when the turtle was 3in and the eel was 6in!

I tryed a 6-7 in bichir with a hachling maybe 1 1/2 in snapping turtle the little sucker when right over and grabed on his tail and hung on as the bichir went nuts I had to lift him them out of the tank before he let go turtles are lean green machines not to be trustied as far as your bichir can throw them

fish with a turt are turt food now or later but for sure it is food
