Turushuki Catfish-Oxydoras niger???

Bruce you inspired me I brought one home this week, it's smaller than I thought once I got him home. Funny , have you noticed they always look bigger at the LFS than at home. Anyway placed him in the 55 grow out with the IT's. Pics coming, have you posted pics or did I miss the thread? Not familar with those Geos please post pics

Here's the pic I promised not the best view and he's around 4" tops

He's in a 55 grow out right now until he can go in one of the display tanks...
 
man i want to buy one...but if i build a plywood tank thats 6'x3'x3'...would that be ok for him for life?

I would say no mate. When they are feeding they get pretty active. As they easily achieve 3' and are very broad then there is not much space for manoeuvre at all in a 6 x 3.
