Hey guys how long could i keep a 5-9" turushuki cat in with these fish i havent bought him
2 Severums 9 inches
1 Royal Plec 9 inches
2 Small Orange Pikes 5 inches
1 Firemouth 6 inches

It realy depends on what size tank.... and you should be fine for awhile being he'll be close to the same size as the others

a 150gallon with a foorprint of 72 long by 18 wide by 27 tall

That 18" width will require an upgrade, those cats get huge!

up till he can't turn around. they are fiarly slow growers at least mine is. very docil won't have any problems with him picking on anyone.

Ok roughly what is the growth rate is the question here... If there will be a upgrade required...just when... Comeon guys read the posts properly so we don't have to waste peoples time with the whole "that tank won't last" type of posting when it's clear that they understand that already.

Maybe it's cause it's early for me and I didn't get enough sleep... but I expect better information from Mods and more experienced keepers, Sorry if this offends you guys but just how I feel at the moment

Will probably reach 18" at or before 2 years..

I've got an 8" Niger Cat (Turushuki, Turushuqui, Pseudodora niger, Oxydoras niger, Whatever you want to call it) in my 125 community. He is very docile, my 1.5" Reticulated Hillstream Loach shares a cave with him. :) I owned two others, one was killed by an August power failure (about 17"). The other survived the power outage and grew to about 22" and 9 pounds. Unfortunately he stopped eating when I moved him to a bigger (180 wide) tank :( He was about 7 or 8 years old.

They do grow pretty fast up to 12' or so, then slow down a bit. You ought to be able to keep it in the 150 at least 2 or 3 years, in my opinion.

Good luck and enjoy your new Cat!

they do grow slow so if u kno someone that can take him off ur hands wen he gets bigger go for it but he will be able to live with those fish for a lil bit
