has anyone noticed hat about 90 % of all the fishing shows on TV are either about bass or saltwater fishing i am an avid fisherman do it almost every day in the summer i fish primarily for catfish i admit i have seen a few episodes of catfishing but not alot i personally think that there should be a couple shows just about cats i love cats i think they give one of if not the best fights does anyone else think that there should be some catfish shows ?

the only catfishing only shows ive seen are of southern people noodling. Other then that in-fisherman and a few other shows target them.
cats are definitly a favorite to fish for of mine. lay the rods out and relax and wait for a bite. Hook into a big one and enjoy the fight.
US native cats are very easy to catch and its not a major game fish for alot of people. I personally dont like anything about them other then the fight. There is no challange in getting them to bite, just seat and wait. So to me thats BORING!!!!!
now dont get me wrong, casting out after bass, perch, or crappie is a blast! Presenting the lure just right to get them to bite is so much fun. But sometimes i just like to relax, Sitting on the pier watching the sun go down, its so perfect sometimes. Dont even need to fish to enjoy it.
Some scenes from the river, the sunset is average. Sometimes its so beautiful, i forget i have rods even out. It's half the reason my girl goes with me if i can convince her too. The other is fog engulfing the I-95 bridge, thought it was neat.

Forgot: On the pier i like to fish the outside for cats and the inside for perch/bass/etc. So i get the best of both worlds.
