TV show On Fishkeeping needed

I recently saw a smallmouth bass suck down a small swimming garter snake.
 
I would watch a fish show.It would be tough to make a show that kept the interest of serious keepers and enough general stuff for everyone else to watch
 
I agree, they should definately start to have a show about the fish keeping hobby. I'd be watching it fo sho !!
 
Make it a fish reality show, that way, common folk who are addicted to crappy common tv programming would watch it and the ratings will stay high enough to keep it on the air.

Celebrity guests would keep the Neilson ratings up too. I would pay top dollar to see Paris Hilton fall into a tank of hungry sharks on "celebrity fish fear factor" :woot:

Perhaps "Fish elimidate". A tank with 3 male dovii and 1 female. How could you not watch the whole show?

Bad fish, bad fish whatcha gonna do...........etc. A show based on "Cops". The premise; fish getting apprehended by their owners for being bad. Criminals would be fish like buttekoferi, oscars etc.

The possibilities are endless, but I would hate watching all the Petsmart ads between programming.
 
I hate to say it but I think we are in the minority. I don't know that many fish keepers. People just don't want to do the work. Having said that, I think a show would be great. Maybe Discovery can get away from the "machine shows" and get back to showing stuff about nature too. I like American Chopper, but there whole line of programming is about that type of stuff now!
 
It would definetley entertain us for a bit, but it would also have to entertain non-fishkeepers. I think they would have to show alot of predatory stuff happening.
