Tweezered Camallanus out of fish...

Tweezers will not be enough to remove all the camallanus. What active ingredients does API Pro internal parasites med have? You need medicated foods to do this job effectively. Get Anti-Parasite medicated food by Jungle for this.

I used levamisole a few times over the years, and was very successful in treating for camallanus, but I find it impossible to find the stuff now. Does anyone here have a definitive answer on why this is, and what happend that changed the availability

CA, I think the answer here is the fact people perceive it as an old-fashioned med that they felt the need to replace it with fenbendazole and flubendazole. BOTH are still useful for nematodes fortunately. I do agree that for an old-fashioned med, it is still VERY effective.
