I feed my pond and have a bunch of Snapper friends, this is Baby and Chompy Baby making babies. It's a bit violent but that's Common Snappers for ya

Last year I had:
Big Baby - 15" shell
Baby - 12" shell
Chompy Baby - 12" shell
Baby 2 - 10" shell
Mid Baby - 6" shell
Tiny Baby One - 2" shell
Tiny Baby Two - 2" shell
I named them all the same so as to have an audible thing they will know and respond to. I walk to the pond, I snap my fingers, I yell "Here fishy fishies," make a clicking sound with my mouth, yell "Where my turtles at?" and if a Snapper comes up I yell "Hey Baby come here," and then toss food in near it.
I like having fingers and toes, and the Snappers come to me. I'm never going in that pond lol
Chompy Baby appreciates how I attract a bunch of small well fed Bluegill. I don't name the Sliders, they're invasive, I wish I had the proper Painted.
If you have a pond you can feed that no one fishes it's like having a huge aquarium full of natives. Snappers begging for treats is very funny to me. Puppies with shells.
