Two 75 Gallon or a 135 Gallon

This problem is easily solved. What you should do is get another 135. If that does`nt work for whatever reason, fix the reason!

Due to current circumstances, having the 135 is the biggest I can get. Don't have the accommodation for anything else (Other than stacking two 75's in it's place). Believe me, I would if I could.

The carrying capacity of two 75 gal does not equal to one 135 gal when it comes to large CA/SA. The tolerance of cichlids varies greatly with the size of the tank they house in. A smaller tank makes mildly aggressive fish less tolerant, and a bigger tank makes aggressive fish more tolerant. A 75 gal can house no more than one 14" plus a few smaller fish. A 135 gal can house four mildly aggressive 14" plus a few more smaller fish, twice as many as two 75 gal can house. Certainly, for super aggressive CA like Flowerhorn, even a 135 gal cannot house more than one. On the other hand, even a mildly aggressive synspillum cannot tolerate another similar size Vieja in a 75 gal.

I appreciate everyone's input so far and this is what I was thinking.

1 Female Festae, 1 Male Green Terror, 1 Redfin Prochilodus, 1 Ornate Bichir in the 135 Gallon. (Anything else I could put in?)

Then get a 75 Gallon and keep some smaller Cichlids, and be ready to move the Green Terror if anything does happen to go wrong.

What do you all think?

That sounds like a good plan to me. Just remember to lightly stock the 75 to leave space in case you need to move someone from the 135.
