Not recommended to have just 2 in the same tank. Always remember that arowanas are betta in huge form. Even a group of 5 or above in the same tank will have a certain amount of aggression in there. The lesser and smaller group only amplify the aggression.

it is possible to keep 2 Asian aros in a tank that size I'm doing it right now
you need to start off with a big group of aros say 6-9 then remove some as they grow then you may get lucky like i did and get a pair

iam thinkin about getting some cheaper specis of fish i want first then get some expensive ones. love to have a tank like yours one dayits taken years to get my collection all in one place/tank and living in harmony
