your gravel syphon a pleco wont eat fish crap, it only cleans tiny algae particles off of the glass and bottom. pleco's are necessary, plus they produce alot of waste.

Wait, if you don't have a pleco, how would you get rid of the algae?

a magnetic algae cleaner in that goes inside and outside your tank. dont even have to get your hands wet. just swish it back and forth across the tank and it cleans it right off. plus, if you have normal lighting and good water parameters, algae should not be an issue.
