can they breed and grow in to be fresh water fishes?
 
I keep the salinity between 1.014 and 1.020

Id like to see this. How about some info on the aquarium and pics. I doubt he would make it past 2-3 ft if he was in fresh. Bumblebee groupers should be kept in brackish when young , then moved to salt.

They are born in rivers that are brackish , then eat bugs etc and move out into the ocean. Anyone who is dumb enough to keep this great fish in fresh for longer than 4-5 inches is just slowly killing the fish.

My bb grouper is reaching 2ft soon , and is amazing. Sorry your getting rid of this awsome fish. GL on your sale!:headbang2:headbang2
