But yes, that is a black and white example of illegal (and immoral) reintroduction... which really isn't reintroduction at all since it was into a freshwater lake, and this is a saltwater animal. I hate idiots like that.

Back in the very early '60's they had a witch hunt for a "mystery fish" in Lake ST. Clair, just north of Detroit, MI. It had been breaking lines and stealing bait and people had only gotten glimpses of it. After 6 months and a couple of contests it was finally caught... Turned out to be a Guitar fish or Skate. They thought it came in thru the St. Lawrence Seaway.
