Fish that would tear the crap out of them, check my tank setup.

It you don't have the tank space then don't buy fish :screwy:

Like your other fish they will end up dead.

I don't keep africans and so I was saying what the general rule is. I know people mix them but often the reason not to is the water requirements.
Understood but what I was trying to say is that the African Riverine and Madagascar fish have similar water parameters as CA/SA cichlids and that's why you see Jewels and Kribs (more so in community set ups) as well as Paratilapia and Tilapia mixed with them. Rift-lake cichlids are a totally different story as you suggest.

i understand ur frustration but please listen to the expierienced ! Thanks to all the people here that have been helping me ,and thanks to their advice things are looking better for my fishes future! Thanks to all that have been helping me !!

All fish in 55g will be removed by the end of this week, and all the fish in the 30g will go in the 55g, and the GT fry and my new ID Shark fry will go in the 30g until they are big enough to go in the 55g.

And the in 6 months when the ID shark can't turn around in your 55 - you can start building a pond.

Research, research, research.
