Two Indos went up a Python....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
sorry about your loss and don't give up.

here is something you can try that will probably help you out the next time on water change. in the past, i made the same mistake twice sucking up my clown loaches, they died. so from then on, i found a piece of screen/mesh that have holes big enough to suck up all the junk but not big enough to suck your fish. i wrapped it around the phyton with a rubberband and it works great ever since and no more dead fish. i would put the screen/mesh on the phyton for the tank with the smaller fish. for the tank with the bigger fish, i would pull it off easily so that it can suck up all the bigger pieces of junks that might not fit thru the screen/mesh. give it a try and let us know how it works out. good luck!

sorry for your loss-dont give up, we all make mistakes..

Kinda mean, rude, and unnecessary IMO. I doubt the OP posted to hear someone call him dumb and stupid.
Intelligent people can do things that are dumb and stupid, just as flamenco said it's called making a mistake. I don't think he's directly stating that the OP is dumb and stupid. While I do think flamenco was a little harsh, I don't think you need to jump all over him for it. To the OP though, I feel for you man, I've sucked up ghost shrimp before with my python and I felt bad, so I can just imagine how terrible you must feel. Keep your head up and try to stay positive, at least you have MFK and the great wealth of knowledge it can provide to help your further endeavors.

sorry for your loss bro :(

Yeh :(
But I m living in the country of Indos
Does'nt make the loss any better. That 600 could have still been in the wild and maybe a few of them might have been able grow up and reproduce.

sorry for your loss. i use a powerhead and tube for my water changes and worry about the small dats getting sucked into the powerhead. i try to shoo them away from the powerhead but they dont get scared anymore so i have to do it the old fashioned way and scoop the water with a small bucket. pain in the butt but they are in a 20g so not too bad.

sorry to hear that man, I once lost a 100$ discus the day i bought it. didnt care to watch him settle with my other fish and a stupid blue gourami killed him :(
