I agree with Miguel.Jars naturally fight with each other in the wild.In this case the weaker fish can simply swim away to safety.Something they can't do in the average aquarium.When fishing for them they often sport scars from previous battles.

learned something new today.. :ROFL::ROFL:

That is why this forum is so addictive ;)
I wouldnt be surprised if there was a detox/rehab facility for MFKers

i think if you put 2 jars in the same tank their will only be one outcome DEATH

Your tank is not an average tank, You know it....You have the whole amazon, the ganges and the murray river in there, Jed, as you know...:)

OK ok my tank isn't average. I defy odds in my tank. LOL but then again how am I able to mix 2 or more jardinis during different from years of fish keeping?

One time I even had 3 in a 125G and they were the only fish in it.

Never say "CAN'T" cause it "CAN" be done! I know from first hand experience.

Look at all the dithers though. LOL.

^ lol seriously, they probably don't even see each other half the time. Awesome fish though. Must have been a nice tank with 3 jardinis.

big nono....it does not work like silvers or asians or blacks.....one per tank, only.

I have two silvers,two blues and a jar working fine..__________________

you do....where are some pics of that tank please... sorry i missed them..

oh also... don't know where this came from at all, because i didn't change anything in the tank (i've had it running with the fish for two years now with weekly waterchanges) but the gills seem to be peeling forward on one of them. it's stopped peeling, but a gill flap sticking out and forward isn't very pretty. anyone know what it is and how i can cure it?
