It could.. It might be better if you can but when young it is my personal opinion to do whats natural But if you can get them trained onto non live if that is your goal.. then my opinion is go for it


Just remember that you can go live if they decide to starve completely..

i would drop feders in one at a time..that way they associate our hand with food..and in time..hit whatever food falls into the tank..DM has a sticky post at the top of this forum..but its meant for weaning..

I might be getting some free guppies this weekend so that will be good.

crickets will work..are are probably better because they float..

pbass are piscavores though, their main diet consists of fish, so i would go with guppies as their main food..and treats..for variety..

crickets
krill
shrimp

maybe even some fathead/rosyred minnows

that should be good

im getting some guppies tonight. it's wierd because a few of them are starting to eat brine shrimp but the others wont touch it and the ones that do will only eat certain pieces and spit other pieces out.
