well ive done a little research and mine has blotches along by his dorsal but the red doesnt fade through the black lines... my digi camera is broken or id post some pics.
ive been busy since i bought it and the fs is a half hour drive... i have a rtc now and a 1000g carp holding tank on order which i plan to cut a sheet of perspecs into... maybe he an the rtc can take up residence together eventually.

I can pretty much assure you it's a Micropeltes.

update, was quite disappointed but returned him today.... he was attacking my rtc lastnight and had a whisker, had to go!!!
