  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A goliath tiger fish! Id love to have one, but i cant find one around my area.

A few places I know that are currently carrying goliaths are oceanstateaquatics.com and aquascapeonline.com which are also vendors on this site.

Damn, B! That thing is growing fast. Armatus looks good too.

Thanks bro! It was growing pretty fast until the brevis started being an ass. How are your fish doing? But I'm hoping the gatf gets back on track. The armatus and goliath are best friends, always following each other. lol

Just keep in mind like Chix said that Armatus will out grow the GATF in a few months. That GATF will be in jeopardy of becoming lunch. I've had a 6" scomb take down a 4" VATF once.

That's why I didn't pick up my Armies until my ATF were well over 9". My Armies were 2.5" when I got them about 3 months ago and they're pushing 7" now. They've almost caught up to my GATF so in about 3 months I'll introduce them.

Thanks. I will definitely keep an eye on the armatus but what are you feeding your armatus? I need tips on pellet training my armatus.

Well after they were about 3" I basically just starved them for like 2 weeks and they started eating floating hikari sticks. It was pretty straightforward. lol Oh and I upped the temp and added current.

Now I feed them thawed whole smelt almost the same length as them and they eat one a day. I will mix in some sticks some days. As they get bigger I'll end up feeding bigger frozen fish and stuffing them with sticks.
