Hi I have some fish from a friend and he wanted me to sell them but I do not know what type of fishes these are and what is the general selling prices of these fishes. I want to get the community's feedback.

I believe these are blood parrots but some say they are king kong parrots. I remember they were 4-5" maybe even 6".

Can someone please shed some light and help me prices these fishes. Thank you.

Not sure, try getting some close-up shots.

I only buy actual species fish as often as possible, but if you can convince somebody to buy those things, power to you.

They look like regular BP, and I'd say they can be sold at that size for $20-30.. I say that, cause the little tiny ones..at about 2-3" are normally sold at $24.99 at your norm chain stores... just my opinion...

Thanks for the replies. I will try to get closer pics when I can because it's not at my home. If these are in fact regular parrots, then maybe I can sell then for street prices of $10-$15?

Looks like reg. blood parrots. In CA where I'm from, I wish I can get them for ten bucks a pop.

usually, only babies are that price, my LFS list fish that size above 25dollars usually.

They start out as Parrots. When they get to 5"+ size they call them KingKong Parrots.
Why?

I know they are hybrids that can not close there mouths. What a shame.

Only some of them can't close their mouths; some of them end up with a normal mouth or a mouth that closes part of the way. Luckily, some breeders are trying to breed for blood parrots that have normal mouths.
