TYPES OF LARGEMOUTH

I say go for some of the larger sunfish species as well. Might I suggest the pumpkinseed sunfish? they're gorgeous and you could probably sell some of the subsequent generations. Your bass would do better if there were other fish to make up part of their diet.

well yes in the sense that they are commonly referred to as red eye, but there is a true black bass known as a red eye.

as for the bass slam i'd love to myself, just logistically getting out to texas for that guadalupe bass seems out of my means right now.

so i recently ordered twelve LMB and had them shipped overnight, this was my first experience ordering fish online so i really didn't know what to expect. when i called and placed my order the girl that had answered the phone said they would last 24 hours in the shipping container

anyways so fast forward to the fish arriving:

the 12 twelve LMB bass were ordered from NY state and i recieved them the next day the box was about 16 inches square and packed with two reuseable ice packs and and couple of sheets of newspaper and a large double up bag containing the 12 LMB. What suprized me was the low amount of water that these were in about an 3-4 inches of water i would think that they would suffocate in such a little amount of water. i had a 38 gallon rubbermaid tub filled and sitting out side all week long and with a granular powder called shiner life in the water. (neutralizes ammonia and balances the PH and aswell as kind relaxes the fish ) as well as a 12 volt pump to circulate the water. So after about a 3 and a half hour drive to my property in maine and another 1/2 hour acustomizing them to the water they are the residents in my pond

here is the link to where i ordered my fish

overnite shipping is not included in price
(i was charged a different price, on website are not correct so technically they should honor that price on the website) :headbang2
