doc, thx for sharing article

damn shame.....what a power house when he first came on the scene...the guy just scared the crap outta everyone......he's had a monster fall from glory days

wonder if WWE will take him on

gotta wonder if he'll do something stupid and kill himself one way or another

i don't feel sorry one bit for him.......just real sad since i once liked his power

First off Id like to thank you for that awesome video footage!

You rock!

SECONDLY.....Tyson was the only fighter in the late 1980's that truly INVIGORATED boxing.

People came or spent money on pay per view becasue they KNEW instinctively that they were watching one of the greats.

But....he was undiscplined...and had really GOOD management from a money perspective....only not HIS OWN money but that damn vampire KING. :swear:

Joe Louis had bad management also. He was EASILY one of the best boxers ever...and he ended up a broke old man, fighting WAY behind his prime...and then got a job GREETING guests at a hotel in VEGAS so he could aford to live and pay back the damn mafia. Like some kind of sad freakshow.

Thats not right... :headshake

People jumped on the TYSON bandwagon when he was young and winning, then when he got into legal troubles and started loseing and behaving bizzarely they jumped off quickly.

Bottem line: His moral character is not in question.....I dont care what the heck he does, I pay to watch him fight. He need not be an angel to fight well. Think about it, he gets paid to beat up and potentially harm other men...permanently.

But hes supposed to be an altar boy at the same time.

Tyson was born in the wrong century. Had he been born dureing the era of Jack Johnson he would have been herladed a hero. Or despised becase he was so good at what he does. So much better than those of us that PRIDe themselves at being good at fighting...

Hes older now.....with tons of debt......kids...a wife...and a past that people will always measure him up too and say that he is washed up.

But how many of us would ever have made it as far as he has with as little to work with?

Yes....he needs to stop boxing, maybe if he could write or have someone write abook about his life......or he could use his past as a way to make money without fighting. (Maybe teaching)

Im a TYSON FAN....always have been..always will be.

Sincerely from S. E. San Diego,

Aztec Fred

very well said........ much respect to Iron Mike....... He never had a chance since birth....... yet someone was able to see a talent he had......... (*** kicking)......... I truly believe he's a victim of his surroundings......... never had a chance to growup.......... heavyweight champ at what 20yrs old?......... anyways there will never be another fighter to dominated boxing the way he did......... sure he may have some mental issues.......... but dont all of us?....... ;)
