Hamato will Urijah Faber come to UFC? i could see him fighting sanchez. that would be nice

i dont see it happening only because the WEC relies on the smaller weight class seeing they got rid of the welterweight and light heavyweight division and brought who they wanted to the UFC. the WEC is adding the flyweigths (125) division next year so i dont see one of there moneymakers moving to there other affilation.....WEC and UFC are both under ZUFFA thats why mir annouces for them. sorry but i dont see it happeneing

That would be a very unwise career move on fabers part, he would need to fight 10lbs up in weight from his current featherweight class(145lbs), he would be significantly undersized against an opponent like diego sanchez comes fight time is probably around 170lbs+ and nearly 5'' taller.

You are the only person on this planet excited to see a silva vs marquardt 2, as of right now that fight makes no sense at all, his only logical fight at 185 would be a rematch with henderson.

i agree with this. i think henderson is the only person thst could take silva (at least to a decision). i want a war not a 1 round show boating mismatch. silva needs to go down its starting to get boreing.

Maybe I am in the minority but, if you have been watching Marquardt recently, you know that he is not the same fighter as he was the first time he fought Silva.
Marquardt is rolling right now, and if he can beat Maia, I expect him to show up big in a rematch with Silva.

On the Faber thing, I agree somewhat with what the other guys have said. there has been some talk of merging the UFC and WEC together, but there are some contract issues that are in the way right now.
I also think Faber would be at a big disadvantage, but I don't rule out some of the guys form those divisions moving around either.
So, I would say that the odds may be good that Faber fights in the UFC, because he is still young enough to wait around for the legal junk to run it's course, but a far as a Sanchez fight, I doubt it.

Marquardt has looked good in his last couple fights, but the loss to leites throws a monkey wrench in a chance with a rematch with silva. I would expect to see henderson vs silva, then possibley marqaurdt vs okami for a chance at the title.

I disagree since it was a split decision. The winner of Marquardt and Maia will be the #1 contender.

Okami should be in there, but he is a 0 draw, so he isn't getting the shots he derserves.

imo if they merge the ufc and wec then they are going to have to add at least the featherweight class to the ufc, you cant take away a whole weight class in the merge, it would piss too many people off, also, merging all the belts in one contest would be a MEGA draw for like UFC 125 or UFC 150 as their next landmark
