U HAUL a company to never business with

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
U Haul is a universally BAD company.. there are some good stores with good people, but they are few and far between. i'm kinda lucky here, the U Haul here is managed by an old friend of mine.

i still have to pay full price, but she makes sure i get good equipment and i'm not over charged. can't say that about any other U Haul i've ever used, and i can't say that about the guy that owns the store she manages either. i still get yelled at 4 years later about the trailer i left in AZ because the lights didn't work, when i see the owner.

I bet its your attitude that they adjusted the price for your ass lol haha i would have done the same

Seriously, I mean you're paying them a large sum of money (respectively) for a product and they don't give you the product as advertised and give you bad service while they're at it.

ZOMG :nilly::nilly:

I have used uhaul like ten times, and I will have to say that around here things run pretty smoothly, I have never had a problem getting the size trailer I need. It usually costs me like $20 bucks to get one for a day.

yeah, if you got the truck the trailers are pretty good. Renting the actual trucks on the other hand....

no fun.

I always preorder my trucks in advance by two weeks and call to see if its there on the day you wont be waiting around for it then.

Ive had no problems renting trucks for the day Ive had them install hitches on multiple vehicles

When it comes down to it 35$ 43$ with tax for a clunker piss of **** to move your crap around is a deal use your own dolly and refill the tank and you wont get arrogant ass charges

Only bad thing i have ever seen about uhaul was one time i was going across the country driving to michigan and in some moutain road i think thro utah i saw this guy driving a 35ft old GMC uhaul up the grade and i swear that thing was on fire and he was in no mood to stop

for your information buddy

i am a farm boy from saskatchewan and we certainly know trucks and how to drive them, oh and by the way my family is employed in the trucking industry hauling freight so I guess you could say we know a thing or two about trucks and how they are suppose to drive.

so as soon as you get your head outta your butt ill have a serious conversation with you since you dont have a grip on life yourself

because to make comment about someones abilities without knowing anything about them well you know what they say about opinions and apparently your opinion is located on your face under your nose

well the vehicle was preordered and I was given a phone call assuring me it would be ready at noon on the set pick up day

So far as your earlier comment that I should get a grip on life.

Buddy it was a business trip and business deals with meetings and appointments and a certain timeframe. And when a supposedly reputable truck rental company screws things up like this and does nothing to make it better, perhaps said company should have more care.

It's not how I do business and it's not how I expect others to do business especially when they bill themselves as having the best vehicles and having great service etc.....

Since their whole response was to pass the buck over and over and not even deal with the issue, then things like the bbb and various other consumer agencies and things like this forum are fair game. After all word of mouth is the very best for of advertising.

so im reading your first sentance and im like my goodness no!!!!!! :WHOA:

whew to see that your car did not drop off the hauler

we also do old cars and I would freak if any of mine fell off a hauler, thankfully they gave you some justice

Trust me, I was nervous the whole drive home. It was dark and raining on top of all that. I looked back every 30 seconds to see how it was doing, lol! But if anything did happen, I made sure before hand to add the insurance policy if it did fall off.
