... all of us like to get a natural environment ...
Thank U yoganathan_kn,
I can understand when one say that the result is not
natural but looking at all the green plants here I do
feel and hope as well that one can sense nature.
Nature interwoven with urban landscape.
U R B A N AQUASCAPING
is about harmony between
Hardware and Software.
Hardware = Aquarium/Cabinet (1)
+ Soil/Stone/Wood (2).
Software = Water/Plants/Fish (3).
We aspire to experience that triangle
as it is and always was one life tissue.
The way to translate that idea was by using back light
as background and not any other or different kind of
opaque background, inside one can see black quartz
"grow" from the black quartz substrate as they were
one, dark and coarse gray basalt substrate "climbed"
on the black fine black quartz, as well one can see
black quartz "climbed" on natural mangroves etc.
The scenery interwoven with geometric structures and
needs to achieve and reflects contradictory, I do hope
that one can see the dynamic journey in the aq' water.
At first I design the Ario 4 'House', and as time passed
by more and more elements emerge, it took few good
months to coat the driftwood and that moment became
for me the turning point in that interesting journey.
Once one design a certain concept by creating a visual
language and just like at Visual Communication it is
much better to take the road all the way, therefore the
driftwood had to be an integrated part of the whole view.
By doing so I knew I had to "kill" him for what he is and
the character that he represent BUT from his "death" one
may see IMHO the "birth" of new life that were called
and were defined by the term U R B A N AQUASCAPING.
