I work in a county were a certain breed of dog is illegal. We impound hundred and hundreds of them every year. People still breed them still buy them, people get transferred here from other states or counties. And the owners and there dogs pay. Because instead of enforcing a vicious dog ordinance and hanging stupid owners who own mean dogs they ban an entire breed based on three dogs actions. Do some research bans are not effective. Prohibition didn't stop drinking. The brady bill hasn't stopped automatic guns sales nor has it caused the number of women killed by their nutjob exes to drop. What did they do? They made criminals out of hard working people that wanted a drink or to exercise their second amendment rights.
