U.S. Coast Guard Chooses Not To Blast Rat Infested Ship

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
here's my secret, i dont' actually read the fish portion of the site anymore, keeps me sane.

i live in the lounge now, only venture out once every other month

No point in wasting ammo and/or artillery shooting the ship when they can sell it after the owner does not reveal himself and attempt to claim it....I'm not sure how I feel about the selling of the illegal fish that was confiscated.

what should they do with it? what do they do in these cases?

what do you suggest they do with it? just donate it i guess?

btw, i completely misunderstood the title

i thought a US Coast Guard was an animal lover, and couldn't pull the trigger to kill all the defenseless rats

^ hhahaa, yup, a bunch of hippies they are

i'm sure he meant donate them as FOOD to such places. makes sense. i'm sure they were already dead. what boats do we know that can hold 30 live sharks long enough to unload them?

im gonna say being its a fish troller spelled wrong probly. And they were long lining for fish. the fish if still good and not rotten and are edible. Should be sold and the money should go to making more man made salt water reefs or to help the people down south still screwed from katrina

That would be great but I suspect that they were dead upon confiscation....I don't know, for whatever reason, these fish were protected from capture due to federal laws so selling them would only feed the demand for more of them,it would seem.I'm guessing that the fish were intended to be for human consumption.
