Okay, call this a rant if you like, but the USPS SUCKS!!!!! Last weeks two day priority shipment arrived on just the EIGHTH day, mangled, with a "WE CARE" sticker (what do they care about, their paycheck?), with a cloth priority mail bag stuffed in a packing and all 60 fish dead. WTFO? I guess you know the taxpayers 32$ mailbag will never be seen again by the USPS. I think I'll fill it with feces and drop it off for their enjoyment.
This weeks shipment was mailed before 4 pm on monday and is still sitting where it was dropped off according to the all-knowing USPS tracking geniuses. DEAD FISH AGAIN????? A fine fellow MFK'er did everything right and the USPS FAILED AGAIN!!!!! I wonder why their rates keep going up?
If you work there and are compelled to rave about what a great job you do and how hard you work, save it. Go do your job and then kick the ***$ of your coworkers who also suck!!!
Gee, I wonder why UPS and FEDEX get more packages every year.
UPS and FEDEX have yet to even be a day late for me yet.
FIRE THE IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ship with anyone but these JERKS!!!

when shipping fish, go with airport to airport, UPS overnight, and fed ex overnight. I would never use priority mail for fish

One of my Oscars sat an extra 27 hrs on a dock a year ago when I got her. If not for the workers in my town's Post Office calling me after hours to come to their back door and get the package she'd have arrived dead on Monday also (it was a weekend). I feel for you and I was furious, too. What good is saving $20 on shipping when you end up with dead fish? There's a seperate complaint dept for the US post offices. But you know how the government is-it ends up thrown in a pile and forgotten. I'm so sorry about your fish, it makes me sick to think of those fish being forgotten and dying in that box.
I'll never use anything but FedEx overnight again!

There are no perfect shippers...they have all have their downfalls depending on what you are shipping. On top of that everyone has had different experiences. I feel your frustration.

My girlfriend works at the post office as a substitute rural carrier and she says it's pretty bad there. The attitude and atmosphere around the work place sucks. She always tells me how horrible and how much of a b*tch the main rural carrier on her route is. IMO any place with a large number of unionized workers is deemed to fail or have many issues.

Anyways, I prefer airport to airport or Fedex, just because they deliver on Saturdays. UPS is not so great around where I live.

I've had just as many problems with Fed-Ex as I have with USPS. Fedex refuses to deliver to my house. They claim they come by and then send it to the bud for me to pick up on the opposite side of town. Funny, because I sat at home all day one day waiting for the FedEx guy only to receive a call that I wasn't hoe so I had to come and pick it up.

Airport to Airport for me. UPS if I have no choice.

I sent a card to my ex and she didn't recieve it. It was only Ohio to North Carolina and 2 months later after college was over for the summer I get it back, with roughed edges like it been all over the U.S.Saying that the return address wasn't right. Who damn cares, send that dang thing where it's suppose to go. USPS is snail mail, doesn't matter how much you pay.

You think your experiences were bad, but it only gets worse when you find out they make over $50k a year & are not even required to have a high school diploma! I would be grinning like an idiot all day every day if someone paid me that much $$ to do a monkey's job, but they act like its a prison sentence. FedEx only for me.

Well
#1..priority isnt 2 day most of the time, its more like 3-4
#2. 60 fish shipped priorty more then likely never had a chance. How many fish per bag?
#3, next time, dont be cheap & pay for real shipping
#4, dont blame them, they will not handle a leaking package. Why risk damaging others mail?

i can honestly say from working at UPS, that overnight shipping their is very prompt and reliable, and if the box is damaged, usually its because the contents were way too heavy for the box and it got deformed cuz it couldnt support the weight.

but i agree, USPS sucks.

UPS FTW
