Awsome, are those the fish Dan posted pics of the other day? They are the cleanest looking I've ever seen. Good luck with them Peat.

Not the particular fish but these are from the same batch...

Hurry up and breed them so you can get rich (and I can get F1s again)!

LOL I don't know if I can them happy long enough for that to happen. I'm just happy to check them off the "to try" list :)

I don't think it's impossible. You already have naturally soft water so you're ahead of the game there. The wilds seem to appreciate low light, heavy driftwood, really warm water, and a nice varied diet with lots of veggies.

I think people underestimate themselves. You should be good these guys are tougher than people think. I have two 10" that are going out next week. I had the long enough to experience them and the arent sissy fish, they love blood worms and romaine lettuce and adapt well.

Thanks for the tips Ryan. I need more wood...they've consumed two romaine lettuce leaves already, which convinced me that they are not going to work with plants :(

I think you underestimate yourself ;) I'll be very happy if I can get them to be as big and fat as yours!

That's a big no! They'll eat almost anything green. lol. Driftwood it is.

Angels may be alright but sometimes the ferns are a bit more aggressive and pushy than the amphs. Mine did great with Mesonauta. You could also try a small group of geos with them.

I was hoping some plants would survive - anubias, ferns, etc. But it looks like these guys are worse than I thought :D
