**UFC 104 - Machida vs. Shogun**

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it was a bit unjust. however, if a match is relatively close they usually give it to the champ to protect his reign. Plus machida has an unbeaten match and round record and they wana protect that image! who can blame them?

Shoguns only chance is to absolutely pound him, tko, ko or submission!

Completely agree!!!!!!!! Proposterous, I don't know what fight those judges
were watching, but it clearly wasn't the one I was.

Shogun was totally robbed. In my view Shogun one 4 rds to 1.

Decisions like this make me question of the integrity of the judges, just
as it was and is in Boxing. Just like the Ref in Basketball was caught fixing
games.

I agree 100%

At the end of the fight, I said they were going to give it to Machida 48-47, but I didn't agree with it at all. I just had a feeling.

I sort of understand the mentality that you have to beat the champion decisively, but on the other hand, if you're the defending champion, shouldn't you be able to decisively beat the challengers instead? However, I think Shogun won all 5 rounds, maybe not 1 and I think it was very decisive. Shogun had the perfect game plan and executed it very very well. I don't think how the fighters look after the fight is always indicative of how the fight went, but this time, it was very much the case. Yeah, Rua's ribs looked pretty bad, but Lyoto's were way worse plus he limped after the fight because his legs were beat up, he had cuts on his face and he looked like he was starting to get winded in the second round.

just terrible.

Cain looked awesome, but his size (not that he's small, but he compared to some) will hurt his chances with Lesnar, I would imagine, plus Brock has a ton of stamina, too, although probably not as much as Cain.

i gotta watch the johnson fight since I missed it.

This is the beginning of the end.

MMA and the UFC will forever be tarnished, just like Boxing.

This is what happens when the UFC is owned by Casino scumbags... Tons of people put money on Shogun @ 3-1 odds and they were going to lose big on payouts. So the judges were paid off. I don't see how it could be anything else. Everyone judged it Shogun and he landed 2x as many strikes.
