Pretty good card, obviously Machida/Shogun will be great, Kos/Daley should be exciting, I think Belcher/Cote will probably be FOTN, and I'm hoping they show Yoshida's fight.

Something about Koschek makes me really happy to see him get beat senseless. He's not a bad fighter I just really dont like him for some reason.
I'm interested to see what they do with Kimbo now. There cant be that many people he has a good chance of beating. Maybe they're just using his fame to pump up newer fighters that beat him.
Machida/Rua should be awesome. Common sense says to pick Machida but Rua definitely has a chance in my book.

The koscheck debate is actually a matter of the lesser evils in this fight.

During the war of words for this fight Daley has proven himself to be an even bigger loudmouth than Hardy could dream of being. The fact of the matter is Daley is a one dimensional striker like every other fighter coming from England. This means he may KO a few people but when it comes time to fight GSP we are gonna watch another complete and utter domination by GSP takedown and ground and pound / submission. Daley is a complete tool folks and unless Koscheck finishes him we are gonna end up with another Michael Bisping on our hands . Another hype train to attract PPV from another country while excellent foreign fighters in somewhat untapped markets go unnoticed

For example this fight is actually a contender spot a fight to get a shot at the welterweight title but the fighters contrast quite a bit in their paths to get there.


Koscheck has had the most wins in the UFC without a title shot in UFC history .

Koscheck 12 ! wins in the UFC
Daley has 2 wins in the UFC .

Daley defeated two rather middle of the road fighters so far in his career where as Koscheck fought and defeated

Diego Sanchez
Anthony Rumble Johnson
Frank Trigg
Chris Lytle
And 8 others in the UFC not other no name organizations.

Who really deserves this shot and has a better chance of winning ?
Koscheck - Much more well rounded and has a better chance of defeating GSP (Though extremely unlikely)

Daley - Who we would watch get taken down at will and systematically destroyed

i hope machida actually fights and throws some strikes instead of waiting till shogun comes in, he fights in defense and i hate that about him but hes good at it and undefeated so whatever works. just wish he would make a move that did not involve him retreating like a lil girl, its rear to see him push a fight most of the time its the other guy running after him and machida waiting for an opening
shogun has good skills all around im hoping for a win
