Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin
I'm up in the air with this one. Both guys careers been on a decline. If I had to, I'd give Franklin the edge since he's been doing good since he went back to 205. He looks like he's healthier. Liddell is like what, 1-5 in his last 5 fights or something. But Rich isn't really a 1 punch ko guy, so it will be interesting what goes down. Rich doesn't exactly have a granite chin either, but Chuck's stand up just ain't crisp like they used to be. I won't be buying this one. Not exactly jumping up and down, all good fights, but not great fights for me.


Mirko Cro Cop vs. Pat Barry
CC is done, he needs to retire. It don't matter if he beats Pat Barry or not, he won't be a contender anymore. I'm not ready to jump on the Pat Barry bandwagon yet, but there should be fireworks. I see Pat winning by decision if not tko. CC is only good for first round



Paulo Thiago vs. Martin Kampmann
I like Kampmann but the one guy I'm really rooting for is Paulo. I want to see him matched up with Kevin Johnson or Doomsday. I would've loved to see him fight Daley. Anyhow, I like Paulo in this fight, Kampmann is good but, he never seems to be able to make it into title contention

Im a big Liddell fan but I think he will get crushed

I'm NOT a Chuck fan, but my money is on him to KO Richie Rich. I was disgusted with the UD he got over Wandy. Wandy just freakin' walked through Riches love taps like a beast. I am hard pressed to remember when a top ranked fighters strikes were LESS respected by there opponent and NOT resulting in a KO. I freakin' hate wimpy hide and go seek fights like that (Or Edgar/ Penn).

Like Chuck, Wandys career is on the downswing and he has been suffering numerous lights out KOs recently. With that said, Rich was unable to do damage to a single W. Silva pubic hair much less hurt him.

I think that you are nuts with the odds they are giving in this fight NOT to accept some free cash on a fighter that you claim to be a fan of!

Sheesh, I was all but certain that Big Nog would best my boy Randy, and I did not let that keep me from at least putting a small wager on him! I guarantee that ma boy Kos will be a huge underdog vs. GSP but my money will still be on my boy Kos!

if a fighter is not as good at striking as their opponent, has less ko power in their hands, they have to use the "hide and go seek" tactic. what should they do? go out guns blazing and hope a haymaker lands?

it was a close fight, but i also thought rich won. from what i remember, they both had eachother hurt in that fight. rich hurt more than just wand's pubes

Kos is gonna get wrecked again. worse this time I think. they are both better fighters today than they were when they first fought but dude, if I'm gonna wager anything, it won't be on kos whether I'm a fan or not. GSP is on top of his game right now. I don't see Kos out wrestling gsp. he says he's gonna make gsp stand with him so he can knock him out. His striking is not on gsp's level. He's his own biggest fan. He's got nothing on the elite strikers. but he won't stand, he said he'd stand with daley, its' just talk to make the other guy think that's what you wanna do

Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin - I have to take Rich in this fight. I like that Chuck is/was a counter striker, and Rich is so aggressive in the cage, but I just don't see how Chuck is going to handle Rich's length. I like both guys, and both guys have glass chins, so we are likely to see a KO, and I think the odd's are with Rich.


Mirko Cro Cop vs. Pat Barry - This should be a really good fight. Cro Cop's length is going to be quite an issue for Barry. I think that what Barry has in his favor is that he kind of nuetralizes a big reach advantage because he gets in tight so fast. I want to pick Cro Cop, but I cant, and I think Barry could end up with a big KO if Cro Cop isn't careful. I want Cro Cop to win, but more importantly, I want Barry to lose, so that maybe he will finally realize he is a light heavyweight, and drop weight, and really make a run at being an elite fighter.


Paulo Thiago vs. Martin Kampmann - I like Kampmann a lot, but I don't think this style matchup favors him at all. Thiago has big power, and if Kampmann tries to fight this on the ground, Thiago's BJJ will at least cancel out Kampmann, if not, give Thiago an advantage. This fight should be done before a decision is necessary, and I think Thiago will win.


Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel - Another fight that will likely end in a KO. I thought both guys looked decent in their previous fights, even though they were losses. I'm leaning twords Yvel, but Rothwell has a very good chin, and can throw hard. Toss up for me.


Carlos Condit vs. Rory MacDonald - Hopefully a comeback fight for Condit. I like Carlos's style a lot, and while his length can play against him sometimes, I don't think it will in this fight. Rory is probably going to be a good fighter, and will be a tough out, but I think Condit takes this, and gets back into the picture.


Tyson Griffin vs. Evan Dunham - Likely fight of the night winner. Both guys are tough, and well trained. I think Tyson is better than Dunham at this stage though. I'm thinking this will go to a decison, but I wouldn't be surprised if Tyson drops him either.


Not a lot to comment on the other fights, but I do want to see Wilks get a win, and I'm wondering if Loiseau has anything left, or if he will just flail around while Miranda beats his face in.
