ufc 81---brock lesnar!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think the point taken from Brock was justified , He clearly hit Frank on the back of the head , It's not allowed and i mean the power of one of those punches to the back of the head could cause serious damage. If it was a fairly tap then yeah the ref could have let it go but it wasn't.And the fact that Frank weathered the storm of punches from Brock just waiting for a slip and was allert enough to take that opportunity and finish the fight (for me) makes him the better fighter on the night.

all those posts and research on how good Brock was............and then he tapped

pretty funny

That doesn't mean he's a bum though. Just not experienced enough yet. I dont think there's anyone who watched that who didn't say...Dang Brock is gonna be good. I know I did.

No but I think alot of people thought super human body builder muscles just for sheer power = automatic win... :) Maybe I can call Greg Valentino in and get him to dominate the sport.. lol

I won't deny the guy had a good fight even taking a loss, but we'll see just how far he goes.

Oh an reverse I agree.. lol

Brock has strength and potential, just depends on how hard he wants to work on other aspects to live up to his potential. It goes to show, as someone else mentioned already, being big, strong, and fast, isn't always going to get you the win. He can be a great fighter, but other fighters are going to be smart and train harder to expose his weakness, which hopefully gives us the spectator a better show, especially if you have to pay $5.00 ($44.99) to watch. Would like to see Brock against someone big and strong, Gonzaga might be an interesting match up, anybody know his weight?

Is it me or did Brocks lower body look really dispreportional to his upperbody?

Gonzaga is a heavyweight, but really he's just not that good. A good fight for Brock would be in Arlovsky's comeback (which he would probably lose), or Mirko Cro Cops comeback (which he could also lose) but these would be good tests for him. I guess you could say that he is a little "disproportionate" but I think it's because he is so big up top.

Just heard some news too, supposedly a fight is in the works between Chuck and Shogun!! :headbang2:headbang2 Chuck has no doubt had the toughest "schedule" over the last year of pretty much any fighter in the world.

It matters not in my opinion... I think they lesner proved he belongs.. he just needs to keep his extremities inside the vehicle at all times :D

He was slippery up top but it seemed his legs had velcro on them :D

If Brock decides to continue in MMA, he should study Brazalian jujitsu so he can learn how to administer as well as defend against submissions. Imagine Brock Lesnar giving a guy a choke hold, with his upper body strength I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that. Say goodnight!
