Thoughts: I didn't get to see the fights as I was sleeping in a tent, and hunting all weekend.
Lesnar- not surprised that he won. I picked Randy to win, but only because I said that Brock had to show me he could beat a guy like Randy first, before I start picking him to do it. He just did. And good for him, he has taken a lot of heat from the mma purists, and he just went out and beat one of the greats. I am looking forward to the fight with Lesnar and whoever wins the other fight, but to be honest, not as much as I am looking forward to potential fights with Lesnar and either Shane Carwin or Cain Velasquez, in those fights Brock may not be able to be so overpowering, and then we'll see how things shake out.
Florian- He's a guy I really used to not like, but he has started to win me over. I actually like the way he fights, and I'm really looking forward to a potential fight with Penn, as I think that Florian is capable of beating him if he trains hard enough.
Fedor-Despite his loss in Sambo (which is definetly different), he is better than Randy or Brock in my opinion. I don't believe either one would beat him. Brock would certainly pose some problems, because he is so massive, but Fedor is the best fighter in the world.
Arlovski-I think that Arlovski is often overlooked now because of his fights with Sylvia. I can understand that, because he di lose, but I think it was because of really poor gameplanning, by either him or his trainers for those fights. For some reason they decided to have him stand up and fight with Sylvia, which is a big mistake. Arlovski is better than Sylvia, and right now is still in great shape, and takes the sport very seriously. A fight between him and Fedor would be one of the better match-ups in recent history, and it should be a very entertaining fight.
