you took too long, i guess, lol.

i wonder which gomi is going to show up. he really hasn't been the same since his pride days. the last few fights have been more like "what? wtf?...."

if the old gomi shows up, kenny is in trouble. i hope he has truly found new drive and new camp.

he was looking alot more like himself in his last fight against hervey. although he blew his wad trying to finish hervey in the third and looked like crap in the 4th because he was so tired. but if it was a 3 rd fight, it would've been a complete shut out.

i'm all for gomi in this one but i am nervous for him in the ufc. i dont' think he matches up well against the strong wrestlers. he needs to get into a strong camp that will improve his wrestling/grappling and most of all his cardio

i think kenny won't want to go toe2toe with gomi. he'll want to dance around and pick his shots. he'll use his wrestling and grappling to test gomi's cardio. i think kenny has all the tools to get a decision or even a sub if gomi gasses. but i'm hoping for gomi to ko kenny. that would be awesome

Kenny Florian vs. Takanori Gomi - I'm taking Florian here, but not feeling good about it. I don't really know what to expect from Gomi, and I can't help but remember how much the PRIDE guys struggled when they first got to the UFC. I think that Gomi, on pure talent alone, could beat most of the 155er's, but I really like the fighter Florian has become. He trains hard, gameplans well, and stays focused in the ring. I think that Gomi will have some success in the UFC, but having Florian as your first fight isn't exactly a gift.

Roy Nelson(svang55) vs. Stefan Struve(hamato_yoshii) - Struve is one of my fav fighters, so there is no doubt I'm going with him. I have been vocal about not believing that Roy can really have any success in the heavyweight division of the UFC, and I think this is going to be a real tough test for him. I don't think Roy can ever be elite as a heavyweight, and I'm not sold he can be very good either. Struve will be a nice test for him because of his size, his ground skills (I don't think the fat-belly submission will work here) and his willingness to stand and trade. I think Struve is going to be a real good heavyweight, but he needs more seasoning, this fight might be some of that.

Nate Quarry vs. Jorge Rivera - Nate is under-rated, his losses are very justifiable, and he still fights hard. I like Rivera, but I think Nate will over-power him.

Ross Pearson vs. Dennis Siver - Pearson is another guy I really like, and I think he is one of the new crop of British guys (Winner, Wilks) that can have success because of their great boxing skills. He, like Winner, are similar to Bisping in that they can box real well, but they differ from him, because they have KO power. I like Pearson in this fight, but Siver is really tough, and is huge at 155. Plus, Siver has a TKO from a spinning back kick, so you gotta give him a shot.

Andre Winner vs. Rafaello Oliveira - I wrote about Winner above, and I think he will get another win here. He has looked better and better with each fight, and I think that will continue. Winner is probably one of the best boxers in the UFC right now.

Jacob Volkmann vs. Ronys Torres - I thought Torres really fought hard in his last fight with Guillard, and maybe even could have gotten a split. Torres looks to have a lot of potential, and has pretty good experience. Look for Torres to win here, and open some eyes.

Caol Uno vs. Gleison Tibau - This is a cool fight. It should be very technical with Tibau's takedowns and ground game, and Uno's grappling. I think Tibau will be too strong for Uno, but this might be the MMA nerds fight of the night.

Lucio Linhares vs. Yushin Okami - Okami is really good, and I think he should rebound form his loss against Sonnen well in this fight. Even with his last loss, I think Okami is still under-rated.

Its gonna be interesting.

I was wondering when Dana was gonna let Roy Nelson fight should be interesting.

Gomi Vs Florian - I would have given Gomi the nod but after seeing Florian destroy Guida the way he did I got Florian for this fight.

Best of luck to Nate to.

Rest of the fights ill watch.... I am biased lol

I just watched the weigh-in and, Roy looks like he is in better shape. He is still fat, but he at least had some definition in his chest and abs.
What did his weight come in at ? He was like 260 at the heavyweight finale
