I love forest and i think he has some bad luck in the ring, but this time his bad luck is before he ever gets in. Shogun is going to dominate him, no doubt. The Chuck/ Jardine fight will be over quick wether its jardine goin nuts and knocking Chuck out, or if its Chuck sittin back watching Jardine go nuts, and then knocking him out. This card really isnt that exciting except for Shoguns first fight. One thing I do wanna see is Deigo Suckchez's next fight to see if he can redeem himself from his terrible performance last time out.

Sure is hamato, and Rua's Muay Thai knees are insane. He is awesome at the clinch and knee.

Rua is truly one of the best MMA fighters in the world P4P.
And you can't use Cro Cop as your argument anyway. I liked cro cop a lot, very exciting fighter, great striker, but he lost to the elite in pride, only managing to demolish smaller fighters like Wanderlei. Sure he can KO people like Bob Sapp all day, but he was always going to lose to the likes of Fedor and Nog.
By the time cro cop went to the UFC he was pretty much done. He looked listless and disinterested VS Gonzaga, and the same story the other night.
Rua is in his prime, around 25 years old and still hungry.
And also - are you forgetting about Rampage and Anderson Silva? They were not elite in Pride, yet they are ****ing hammering everyone in the UFC
Pride has generally always been at a higher level than UFC and had better fighters, the only thing is some of them are getting old or shot now. Wanderlei is done, so is cro cop, and it IS very different fighting in the cage to a classic boxing ring, so some of them need to get used to it.

I would pick Shogun over Forrest too, I like watching all the pride/Ufc stuff sort itself out. We are gonna get to see the best fights with the best fighters and get accurate gauges of where everyone ranks a little better now. I also hope Liddel wins, What do you guys think of Houston Alexander?
