Thats how I roll when I don't feel like typing but I'll give you a real reply.

Jardine is the master of game plans and a good fighter, ask Greg Jackson. However there is no game plan when you fight people like Wanderlei Silva and get your head smashed so it makes him look bad. He picked apart Chuck though and KO'd Griffin both former and present champs, Jardine can fight.

Leben is a banger, it's what he does. However he is tough as **** and has dropped people when he had nothing left in the tank. His loss against Silva dropped him way in the rankings but he had beaten a few prior to that. He has also gone on to beat a couple in a row recently. Not sure he'll ever be a title holder but he is a game fighter.

Not similar fighters at all really if you ask me, but thats just me.

Does everybody remember that Leben lost to Kalib Starnes.....the guy who got booted from the UFC for being a sissy! I'm not saying Leben is a bum or anything, but I do think he's just one of those "punchers" that always get fights in the UFC, and his abilities get a little exaggerated because everybody just loves watching him fight.

Jardine also lost to Alexander, and Bonnar. To me they are similar in the sense that I think they can both win almost any fight, but when it comes down to it, most of the time those kind of guys normally don't get to the top, they just string together victories, then when they have to fight 2 or 3 very good fighters in a row, they lose, drop down, and repeat.

This is true, but people improve. And Kalib was better than that fight, he already stated he did that or purpose to spite the UFC. But in the end he just made himself look bad. He wasn't that great either, so no big loss. I don't think Leben is great, but he is game and that helps a lot. We'll see if Bisping is as good as everyone thinks.

And you can argue the so and so beat so and so thing all day but it's semantics and will make one crazy.

i look at leben as a stepping stone. kinda like jorge rivera. when you wanna test a guy (bisping still has a lot to prove imo) you throw him in with a guy who you know will always give 100%. throws bombs, can take a punch and is in shape. thats leben and i dont think he will ever be anything else for the ufc. doubtful anyways.

I don't buy that excuse for a second. Any guy who fights professionally, and decides he'll stick it to somebody else by fighting poorly is an idiot. He got scared, and everybody knows it.

It sounds to me that most think Leben will win...

I agree partly, but if you can't use a guy's record, what can you use?

Couldn't put it better myself. Leben is the door to the big boys club.
