To compare Lesnar to Royce Gracie or Hughes for that matter, well....:screwy:
They both have other aspects to their game, stand up submissions and
leg kicks.
Lesnar has none of that right now. He might develop it in the future,
but definitely not now.
As for as Dana, I give him credit for what he did for the UFC post ban.
I just disagree with how quickly he gave Lesnar a title shot. He didn't earn
one against Couture who hadn't fought in how long. The whole Marketing
of Lesnar wreaks.
i agree. Lesnar hasnt even fought as many MMA fights as most guys do to even get into the UFC nevermind get a title shot

Money money money money..... Money!!!

Since when do you need to have 10 fights in the UFC to get a title shot? If the agents and Dana think you have what it takes to make a good fight, then he'll give it to you. Maybe there was some $$$$ influence behind the lesnar couture fight, but Brock won. He validated his skills and beat Couture.

Oh, and if Lesnar has no stand up, how did he knock down Mir the first time? and Couture? Heath Herring? With his telekenetic powers? :screwy:

:screwy: Okay, let's see you lay on Royce Gracie and beat the S**** out of him then.
If it was that easy you'd see every match end the same way...

hey smart guy I didn't see him laying on Gracie...... and when your twice the size of your opponent and 10x stronger I'm sure its not that hard :screwy::screwy: bak @cha!!!

how do you see most matches end in the UFC :screwy::screwy:

i'm not talking about 10 fights in the UFC...... he hasn't even had 10 MMA fights! thats what i meant. plus, he beat couture at the very end of couture's career. you can't honestly believe that couture would've fought the same way had he been 10 years younger

to SUM THIS ALL UP Lesner got's a WHOLE LOT to learn all around..... Only aspect of his game is use his size and power to overwhelm his opponent w/o that there is not a whole of technical skills behind him !!

i very much so agree with you there. the real reason i don't like him is b/c of what you just stated, plus he has little respect for those that have opened the way for him. he lacks humilty and appreciation and there are hundreds of guys that would give anything to be where he is and are literally living at the gym. this is not the first big wrestler (i mean amateur, not pro) that has come into mma with a 1 dimensional fighting style. unless he gains a better respect and knowledge of different styles, he will have a short lived reign and career in MMA. and i do agree that the bottom line is money. despite what lesnar said/did after winning, how many more people want to see someone obliterate him in a title fight now? this also brings more attention to the heavyweight category as oppose to the lighter, faster fighters.

Yes, Lesnar does have a lot to learn. But imagine how difficult he will be to beat once he has some jui-jitsu experience and better striking skills...

As for brock not having technical skills -

actually Fedor's current contract pays him 8 million and UFC is only offering him 3 million. So which deal would you take? Fedor would SMASH Brock! I can't stand Lesnar! I agree with everyone! plain and simple he is a disgrace to MMA, no skills what so ever, the only skill he has it being BIG

From a Company that is on it's last leg. The 3 million is the initial, he will in the end get payed more especially if he gets the belt. In the end he will get the most coverage out of all the current promotions in the UFC and he will be in a stable company. Not one that could go under at anytime and is struggling to get people to tune in.
