Not the biggest event ever but it has a championship fight and it's free, so who can complain.

You can checkout my picks and the entire fight card by clicking here.

The main card on VS is as follows for those who don't care to see the entire card.

  • Bantamweight Championship: Dominick Cruz (c) vs. Demetrious Johnson
  • Heavyweight : Pat Barry vs. Stefan Struve
  • Welterweight : Anthony Johnson vs. Charlie Brenneman
  • Lightweight : Matt Wiman vs. Mac Danzig

that's a nice card for being free

barry struve probably has me most hyped

matt wiman and danzig really needs this rematch considering how their first fight concluded

i'm interested in seeing d johnson fight for the first time since he beat kid yamamoto

Johnson fought since the Yamamoto fight. He beat Miguel Torres a few months back to earn his shot at the belt. It was a pretty lame win though, Johnson took him down and stayed there for most of the fight. Torres was throwing tons of submissions his way but could never catch him. Johnson won the fight by staying on top even though he offered nothing in the form of offense really.

I agree with the Barry/Struve fight, that is the one I want to see the most too.

yea he beat kid by dec also, we'll see how his cardio is. wouldn't really be surprized if he wrestles his way to a victory. cruz isn't exactly a devastating striker or submission artist

i think barry would be too strong and i see him getting a ko. but i think his chin is suspect so we'll see if struve can use his reach. if he can push barry into deep waters i think he can stop barry late in the fight. his biggest issue is that he tends to get into brawls and gets himself caught with a big punch. and barry isn't the kind of guy you want to risk getting into brawls with. he's got ko power in his hands and feet. plus struve is a very tall and lanky guy who fights very short. if only he'd learn to move and use his reach advantage like bones jones he'd be a tough fight for anybody at heavy weight. but he doesn't seem to have the strength to carry his body like that from what i've seen from him. hamato yoshii lost a bet to me on the struve/big country fight, lol

I'm not positive but I think at the end of the Cruz/Johnson fight, Joe Rogan was on his knees when he interviewed Mighty Mouse.
