Ugh a little annoyed

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't think you should use violence. If there's one thing that really annoys people, just keep calm and be stubbornly confident you are right. So if she's screaming, just look at her with a calm look on your face. I swear your sister will blow right out of the house. :D Good job on the Sav!

I wouldn't hit her she may be an idiot but she is family mine is eating his first HB egg I tried before but he wasn't up for it going to try some with her sav soon also

if she were my sister, she'd be cowering in fear before me. LOL joke. (thank goodness im a lucky child i dont have any siblings!) srsly, good luck with the other Sav, if he's eating heartily, he'd be almost as big as the other sav in a few months. keep us posted.

P.S. i hope he has a big water tub to soak in. he still has dried unpeeled skin. how's the humidity in the enclosure?

how many pinkies did you give it?

He fits in his dish but she didn't have water in it. I am keeping it full now though. Idk about the humidity she doesn't have anything to read it. I do mist the cage though.

Derailing my own thread but I don't feel like starting a new thread for this. Well I was cleaning my crested gecko cage and I was taking the bedding out. It was cocohusk with soil(had nothing else so used to as a substitute for a little bit) Anyways as I was scooping it I noticed a meal worm. I have no idea how it got there. I did not put any in the cage and it was all new bedding so it didn't come from another cage. Any ideas how it get there?

Well an update on my new monitor. I thought I would try getting him out. Wasn't worried about getting bit. Sister said he hisses and puffs up when you put your hand near him. I picked him up and put him in a towel no problem. I used the towel which is the same I did with my monitor to let them make their selves a cave to feel safe. Then after a bit slowly open it up little by little. Then have them uncovered for a bit. Then I pet them. He didn't hiss or puff up at all. Only time he hissed was when I put him back in his tank. He backed down a little to my hand that was it. I believe he should be easy to tame. If not I won't give up on him. But I am happy on the progress I am making with the little guy. I will show the only good pic I got of him while out. I am going to start doing this daily except when I am working to give him a break.

Personally I would leave it alone until it's healthier, handling can be very stressful at first, especially for an animal so malnourished.

I wonder if part of his aggression is due to it being so underfed. Hope you'll get him back on track.
