Well I found one of the hatchlings in a pair of my shorts in the bathroom, scared the crap out of my fiance picking up dirty clothes to wash. 
Ugh.

Good luck hunting for them, I lost a baby cal king for 6 months and she turned up. Any chance your dog ate one of them? Agreed with everyone's suggestions as things to try, when my ex spotted my king I put a spare 10G tank out on its side with a heating pad under part of it and a pk fuzzy inside, and waited up. She came out in a couple hours (helped that I knew she was around though).

unlucky but you will find them right when ur least expecting it youll be sleeping with your mouth open and itll crawll in and later the next day youll find it in the toilet
