Fell out of chair...fallen and can't get up...help...

Small whitish worms 1/4-3/4" long that look like pygmy albino tubifex or black worms? They are probably white worms or grindals, often cultured as fish food, and very common in well established filters. Not a problem but if you really want to get rid of them get new pads and restart you filter colony after rinsing with boiling water or hydrogen peroxide. I don't bother them as they just feed on filter sludge.

glad to hear you were able to get a good deal on a replacement tank. that would have really sucked to not have anywhere to put the fish from that large of a tank. good luck with the switch. :D

yer mom is brown.

they looked like a light tan to me.

If they have the same almost earthworm appearance they are closely related and can be treated the same, they still feed on the partialy processed watse and bacteria in the filter.
