And on a side note, how do you aquascape it? How do you get down in there to do maintenance like trim leaves off live plants, scrape algae if necessary, grab something that fell into the tank, snag a dead fish, snag a live fish?

Buddy of mine as a 220. He can't touch the bottom near the back. I would much rather have a 10 foot long tank that is only 24 inches tall and deep than a tank that is 30 inches deep and tall....

When I replace my 300gal (8x2x2) in 20 3 years, want to go with a 10x4x2.5H or 8x4x2.5H, and I'm going with Acrylic so I plan on tipping it on its side to get it through the 3 foot door. At first I was going to remove the front withdow which I think is about 5-6 wide. I'm also going to make my stand only 32inches tall to get it through the door as well. Next house we buy will have double front doors.

I could barely fit a standard 125, can't imagine with the bigger stuff.
