UK black outs!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
When you get it up and running, and over onto our side of the pond...and to Alberta...I hope you send the signal to one of those new-fangled internet channel thingies. I have no interest in watching clueless attention-mongering doofuses torturing their fish to death, but I'd subscribe to your channel in a heartbeat with that kind of content. :)

I'll come clean, i'll be straight up with you John, this damn drone has cost me an arm and a leg. But I'm afraid i'm gonna be hampered due to my crippling technophobic restraints!

In all honesty I bet I struggle to get the damn thing out of my own back yard, let alone to Niki's pad 4000 kms away!!

So, if I do get a channel up and running i'm afraid the best I can offer you is probably something along the lines of this.......subscribers anyone!!

That's not fun!

We have had rolling blackouts for days-weeks every so often for years now, here in South Africa. A big mess really, hopefully your lights stay on!

What the...? I want my money back!

All joking aside I forgot you have a wood burner, at least that will provide you with heat. And if really stuck you can boil water for quick washes, yea, or coffee. I recommend using different water for each application. But hey don’t let me tell you how to party ?

if you also have cast iron pans, that’s great for cooking over wood heat!

My missus already boils water on it, she got one of those whistling kettles! As it gains it's boiling momentum the sound permeates through the house, it sounds so quaint, lol.

She also puts clothes on the maiden to dry them.

My wood burner is the gift that just keeps on giving, lol.

Reading this is giving me flashbacks of Texas being unable to handle a few days of snow and instituting statewide 'rolling blackouts' two years ago. Thankfully we were tankless at the time, but now with 7... BRB, need a generator for the 2 whole days of Texas winter. ?‍??
