uk mfkers?

How is the fish keeping trade in the UK. My brother inlaw is from Glascow, but he was never into fish keeping, so he's got no clue. Is everything pretty easy to get a hold of, or do you have to import alot? It probibly sounds ignorant but I was curious.

They have good stock of the more common fish so I would imagine that their rarer stuff is good too as the wierd stuff is their bread and butter.
As for the aquarium trade in the UK. England is ok, it gets better the further south you go. Scotland seems to only have a few of larger places that are good as well. Small local businesses seems to be the trend up here from what I have noticed so far.
For the life of me I can't get hold of any of the Parachromis species besides one potential freddy (unconfirmed because the guys on the phone were dumbasses) at ridiculous pricing, jags and dovii. I am getting to the point of desperation where I am considering thinning my stock and buy a jag in the hope its a female. I have been trying to find any of the smaller ones for ages with one success, a freddy in manchester but delivery is £25 on top of the fish and I refuse to pay that ridiculous amount.

yeah wildwoods is cool, they do have alot of fish and sum nice dats but any good sized fish are big money. its worth a visit as in the same road there is about another 4 or 5 fish stores within a mile of each other. did get one of my dats from wild woods and is a really nice fish.
do u not drive? its only about an hour away and where they r based there is a long road just full of rep shops and fish shops....it is fairly awesome.
i wana go up there soon, could do a lil uk meet there for the day lol.

hhhmmm bournemouth, but hes a t**t and doesnt look after his fish, plus from what i hear now its more snakes.
could always give claire a shout in stubbington, she can pretty much get anything in for u.
