Ye it is as fat as a bean can but still not worth it get yourself a 2ft £50-80 one and feed him up heel top 30" FAST with enough room and food.

You have COMPLETELY the wrong catfish, I did include the scientific name Hemisorubim Platyrhynchos, look it up, it gets to 14"-20" MAX.

Sigh, no edit button

Check it on planetcatfish, reports they grow to 20", but thats kinda max, spoke to loads of people who have had them and 16" was the biggest anyone I know has seen.
