Uknown pike

Damn he is plant food now ..He was sold as wild caught pike cichlid but does not matter now .I just wanted to show all the experts so they might get a id on what he was.
 
I was kinda shocked when he said it jumped cause I never seen or heard of pike cichlids jumping .

that is a channa either marulius or marulioides, its hard to tell with the faded color. Judging by the fact you said its aggressive its probably marulius. It is definitly not venezuelan, its from asia. the area of malaysia mostly. If you are in the states its ilegal and should be killed.

When u say it jumped out and is gone do u mean gone=dead or gone=cant find it? cuz if u cant find it look far from the tank cuz they can get out n slither accross the floor and hide somewhere...
 
it jumped out and is dead .Last time I saw it was thrown in his garden and was almost rotted away cause we were trying to loo at its teeth .
